These images are from the photo shoot for Andrea's Black Widow costume. I patterned it off of the Avengers design. For what is basically a cat suit this costume was pretty complicated build. Figuring out how all the pieces fit together from a few high res screen shots was no easy task. Plus there are the boots, which I already talked about in a previous post and all the accessories.
Rather than try to build the wrist rockets, belt buckle, and shocker disks by hand I built them in Rhino and 3D printed them. Plus Cobra buckles (the kind all the superheroes use) are crazy expensive so I reversed engineered them from some pictures and built some working replicas in various sizes that could be 3D printed.

We are still working on a wig for this. Andrea was considering dying her hair red the week of this shoot so we didn't bother, but then she decided to stick with blonde and we ran out of time.
